Merry Christmas

Ten of us celebrated Christmas Eve here in Scotia with a Swedish smorgasbord, plenty of good cheer, and for a change, sunny and calm weather! We sincerely hope there's a promising year ahead for all the Buonos!

I'll second that, Harry. We delayed our holiday meal a day to accomodate the boys' multi-household schedule. Today we rotisserie some brined chickens on the bbq, make the usual side dishes and finish off with my 3rd attempt at making gateau basque.

We had a miserable (weather-wise) Christmas Eve here in PA...it was freezing rain all day, and while it looks pretty on the trees is a real pain to drive around in and of course, I had to make a stop at the grocery store. But the evening itself was a lot of fun! Logan loved to watch presents being opened and even chewed on a shirt he got! We had Mom and Jon's family over, so we were rocking 9 people.

Christmas morning, Logan gave his present to Mommy and Daddy by sleeping until 8am! We went to his parent's house in the afternoon, had some dinner and more gifts, then relaxed the rest of the night. We capped it by popping "Tropic Thunder" into the DVD player. We saw it at the movie theatre, but it's definitely worth multiple viewings!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year! :)
